I"m Cullom, the Mushroom Woodworker. Exploring what happens when you pair traditional woodworking with the quiet intelligence of mycelium. Each piece is grown from reishi mycelium and hemp, right alongside the sawdust it came from. Nothing wasted. That's kind of the whole point.
I believe we can grow the future. In nature, there's no such thing as trash. Everything that ends its life becomes the start of something else. Biomaterials like mycelium composites are one of the most compelling examples we have of that principle made tangible: a material that is grown, not manufactured, and returns to the earth when it's done. These pieces are my art-based exploration of that idea.
I'm still relatively new to mycology, still learning, still failing. But the vision is clear: a future where the materials we build with are grown locally, leave nothing behind, and connect us back to the natural systems we're part of.
